Fanis Katsiaounis made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Manos Komaitis however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionysis Loizos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Daniel Prodan put in a rough tackle. 24 minutes into the game, one of RO Army V55:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 30 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Dionysis Loizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stamatis Leontiou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Soulis Souanis with Manos Komaitis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. When Fanis Kapernekas fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Fanis Kapernekas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fanis Kapernekas hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionysis Loizos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Pavlos Pantelakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RO Army V55 and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavlos Pantelakis hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dionysis Loizos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 68th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionysis Loizos having to interfere. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fanis Kapernekas hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
