Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Jitaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Fanaticii's Adrian Jitaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Aurelian Enișteanu:s penalty. Aurelian Enișteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FC Fanaticii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Marius Măgură stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Marius Măgură tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Jitaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Jitaru's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 56 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Zotincă. Marius Măgură recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Oanță. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 62nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Marius Măgură had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Măgură was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When FC Fanaticii's Marius Măgură in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 89th minute of play. If Adrian Jitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Măgură in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Costa Rica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Fanaticii.
