Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Nick Vazquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nick Vazquez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Drew Shultz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of São Paulo Futebol Clube booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. São Paulo Futebol Clube were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
