The supporters of Mexico booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Mancebo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Acratas Unidos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Elias Bidun hit a great ball. Carlitos Parodi came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Margus Paukson sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. 84 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi. Carlitos Parodi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 89 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlitos Parodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Matthias Vall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthias Vall really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 96 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlitos Parodi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6.
