Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Obarenes having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Alfonso Obarenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Alfonso Obarenes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play CD Suscal's León Buisan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 70 played minutes CD Suscal got a freekick which was hit by León Buisan. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alfonso Obarenes made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Xavier Zoido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Zoido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Obarenes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes of play, CD Suscal's Caicedo Gorvea made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bohórquez Oton hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CD Suscal's Alfonso Obarenes. Alfonso Obarenes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
