The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tony Uchiha. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After 19 played minutes R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И got a freekick which was hit by Ola Lekberg. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Rey scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play forced R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Tony Uchiha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Danilo Illart in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 41 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И the free kick. The throw-in from Danilo Illart in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cristo Rey made the kick off in the second half. Cristo Rey got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rolando Noboa handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Cristo Rey made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Cristo Rey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Rey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И made a substitution. Delmiro Oto replaced Gerardo Chabier. Peru were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony Uchiha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 90th minute, Milagros Fraga made a precise shot to the right of Tony Uchiha. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Tony Uchiha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
