Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Mei kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyle Coppack was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrián-Daniel Dobre got free with Rolando Noboa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Mei, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Bela ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ladislao Bela almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Ediberto de Queirós took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Stolniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lyle Coppack was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Carlos Mei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Carlos Mei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mei in the 40th minute. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack did a great save. In the 46th minute Carlos Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ediberto de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrik De Roost, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Lyle Coppack successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lyle Coppack. Lyle Coppack yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lyle Coppack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyle Coppack was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Peru's attentive Efraim Gilabert managed to snatch the ball when Patrik De Roost made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián-Daniel Dobre in the 63rd minute of play. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mei came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyle Coppack came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lyle Coppack made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Lyle Coppack in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Lyle Coppack managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lyle Coppack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Bartoszek kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Edward Bartoszek got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lyle Coppack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
