After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Piara Veloz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ramón Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 8 minutes into the match, Sports Club de DERSİM's goalkeeper Ramón Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Ramón Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. Sports Club de DERSİM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Ramón Abreu, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Ramón Abreu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johann Depay in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Airas Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramón Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramón Abreu. Ramón Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Sports Club de DERSİM's João Carlos Simões got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramón Abreu having to make a save. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramón Abreu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ramón Abreu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 37 minute of play. With 39 minutes on the clock, Jens Kolber commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sports Club de DERSİM! Ramón Abreu was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Abram Sarmiento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abram Sarmiento really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. A sloppy throw-in by Guido Eumann in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. In the 46th match minute, Sports Club de DERSİM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Airas Silva to maneuver through the defense. Santino Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramón Abreu. Sports Club de DERSİM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Johann Depay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Carlos Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Sports Club de DERSİM's Piara Veloz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Piara Veloz in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 62 minutes, Torsten Störmsdörfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sports Club de DERSİM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Störmsdörfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Sports Club de DERSİM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Airas Silva to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After a rather tough play, Sports Club de DERSİM's Airas Silva got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Johann Depay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Piara Veloz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Piara Veloz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Sports Club de DERSİM's Marian Bernberich was substituted for Piara Veloz. In the 76th minute, Sports Club de DERSİM's Marian Bernberich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jan Wattmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sports Club de DERSİM's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Wattmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Bernberich, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute of the game Johann Depay made a throw-in which Torsten Störmsdörfer played forward. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Marian Bernberich sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marian Bernberich showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 88 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sports Club de DERSİM's Larry Bird got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marian Bernberich sent off a good shot on target. After 95 minutes of play, Sports Club de DERSİM's Johann Depay made it 4-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Sports Club de DERSİM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colombia throughout the match.
