Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Sergio Mustafa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cassius Byrne scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. 37 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jacob May hit a great ball. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Sergio Mustafa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zach Harrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Gerber was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of play. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After a defensive mix-up in C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Gerber came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. 80 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Romano came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Taveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 83rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Taveira in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Khalid Parry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
