The supporters of Venezuela booed when Firma Barnängen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Firma Barnängen's Humberto Alcaraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Rune Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When Mark Olsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Firma Barnängen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Olsson couldn't finish the play. Andreas Stolpe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Firma Barnängen's Matthias Ekström. But to his dismay, Matthias Ekström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Humberto Alcaraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mark Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Alcaraz in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mark Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Firma Barnängen's Humberto Alcaraz. But to his dismay, Humberto Alcaraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Matthias Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Matthias Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 65th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Alcaraz went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd match minute, Firma Barnängen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Olsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Firma Barnängen fully deserved thier win.
