Mondi Drogba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Tayyar Tunay sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Atıf Mertoğul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atıf Mertoğul came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ESPİYEM 28's Atıf Mertoğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ESPİYEM 28 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Tiniebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, M. Agus 张耀坤 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Atıf Mertoğul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.

In the 75th minute Mondi Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 80 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Müfit Sıraç who took care of the corner kick.
