Mariano Lacasa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Vergaray. Tiresia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chile were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Tiresia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Mariano Lacasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Vergaray quite easily take care of the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Vergaray. Tiresia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eriberto Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play forced Tiresia FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Angelo Garikoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho de Azevedo came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Vergaray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Celsinho de Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiresia FC's Rodrigo Mikelats was substituted for Angelo Garikoitz. Tiresia FC made a substitution. Genaro Erramu replaced Abel Jordão. A collision led to Tiresia FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Betão Souto hit a great ball. Eriberto Vergaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Celsinho de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiresia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Vergaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 84th minute.
