Jumeuc Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Tomas Berganza scored to the left of an out of position Emerson Paraíba, making the score, 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Saldanha in the 23rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco da Cunha in the 30th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Paraíba having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamilton Luis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emerson Paraíba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emerson Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Paraíba came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Francisco da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Panama side.
