Thanks to some nice moves Marian Drogoreanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Bruno Barrett however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Marian Drogoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YR☆ Rossoneri™ the free kick. In the 17th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Teodor Radovan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bruno Barrett but with some difficulty. Lochlan Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lochlan Newman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lochlan Newman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Marian Drogoreanu from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. When Stanley Wallace came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Wallace couldn't finish the play. Mihăiţă Voina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Mihăiţă Voina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Voina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Ivan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Curacao booed when YR☆ Rossoneri™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Conta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanley Wallace blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iordache Minea having to make a save. Constantin Maniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save YR☆ Rossoneri™ from getting a goal against them. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Drogoreanu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Drogoreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Drogoreanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Voina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Voina, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Marian Drogoreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YR☆ Rossoneri™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Teodor Radovan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Mihăiţă Voina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinu Bungescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. YR☆ Rossoneri™ had played much better football throughout.
