The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Alessandro Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Crisal's protests and gave Alessandro Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. 54 minutes into the game, one of Atlético de Crisal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edmundo Espiga placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to Atlético de Crisal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. After some careless play in the Atlético de Crisal defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Valle. The Atlético de Crisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Valle should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Miranda in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romarinho Silva who took care of the corner kick. Atlético de Crisal's Romarinho Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Valle having to interfere. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
