Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Olejniczak in the 14th minute of the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bojanowski having to interfere. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Black Express's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Olejniczak came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Witkowski in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Black Express getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rafal Domaradzki hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Olejniczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Igor Bojanowski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Express's Igor Bojanowski did a great save. Igor Bojanowski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute of the match Bogumil Klimkiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Witkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
