In the 3rd minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eriberto Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Gayoso in the 7th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Justo Abascal sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiresia FC's Eriberto Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, 何天镇 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiresia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 何天镇 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tiresia FC! In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiresia FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Vergaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Tiresia FC's Zeledon Eufemio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Zeledon Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. Eriberto Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 47th minute of play forced Tiresia FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Angelo Garikoitz made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Tiresia FC's Eriberto Vergaray got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Garikoitz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of play forced Tiresia FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Vergaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tiresia FC's Rodrigo Mikelats was substituted for Angelo Garikoitz. Eriberto Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Luz Tejedor made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Vergaray. Tiresia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Mikelats came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Eriberto Vergaray made a huge save. In the 91st minute of the match, Luz Tejedor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eriberto Vergaray was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Mikelats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
