Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Germano Romero took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Germano Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Fantini in the 7th minute. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Jorge Fantini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Fantini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Germano Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Jorge Fantini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Willian de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Willian de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the game Caetano Moreira made a throw-in which César Moraes played forward. 48 minutes into the game, Henrique Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 48th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Willian de Alcântara got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Caetano Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's protests and gave Caetano Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Fantini in the 60th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Fantini in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willian de Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Fantini in the 64th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Diniz to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Willian de Alcântara threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Willian de Alcântara made a huge save. Caetano Moreira made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Agnaldo Diniz immediately put the ball in play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Fantini in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute Germano Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA were furious when Henrique Nóbrega was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Honduras booed when THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
