Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Falcão Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Saldanha in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Saldanha in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Peru booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şamil Sağman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Jamey Hankins. Gracie Barra's Jago Štriker was substituted for Pedro Velloso. Gracie Barra made a substitution. In the 91st minute, Şamil Sağman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
