Nordvest Fodbold's Paul Banke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moises Gayoso in the 2 minute of the game. Gabriel Dømel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Paul Banke in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Gabriel Dømel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Fesner in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Nordvest Fodbold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Rottwitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nordvest Fodbold's Gabriel Dømel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Nordvest Fodbold from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nordvest Fodbold's Runar Rottwitt got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nordvest Fodbold's Gabriel Dømel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Nordvest Fodbold's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Gabriel Dømel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Dømel. Gabriel Dømel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gabriel Dømel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Asger Søder came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Nordvest Fodbold's goalkeeper Gabriel Dømel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asger Søder's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 38th minute of play forced Nordvest Fodbold's goalkeeper Gabriel Dømel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Banke made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With 48 minutes on the clock, Joaquin Prats commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nordvest Fodbold:s goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Asger Søder made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Dømel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd match minute, Nordvest Fodbold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Banke to maneuver through the defense. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Nordvest Fodbold's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Asger Søder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 83rd minute, Asger Søder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Dømel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 98 minutes into the match, Nordvest Fodbold's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Gabriel Dømel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 98 played minutes Nordvest Fodbold got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Arnov. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
