In the 84thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but English Fire's Dragoş Puric was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Sven-Edvin Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Ahlroth lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. A hard shot 94 in the game by Cazimir Ciulei from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Costică Nedelcu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for English Fire. English Fire's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
