Thanks to some nice moves Cyprian Sitko could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 71st minute of the match. Commander Crowe's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The USA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Commander Crowe to win.
