Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sigvart Biegel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niklas Möller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Radomil Mroczynski took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Radomil Mroczynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Niklas Möller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. After 41 played minutes Galapagos Islands FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Sjöström. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galapagos Islands FC's Anthon Karlsson didn't even have to move. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvart Biegel in the 43rd minute of play. Radomil Mroczynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Radomil Mroczynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galapagos Islands FC made a substitution. Gijs van Zijderveld replaced Aleksander Winszman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Hatip in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Radomil Mroczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Galapagos Islands FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Mroczynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Sigvart Biegel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigvart Biegel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgün Hatip, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Gijs van Zijderveld made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Özgün Hatip however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthon Karlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, Radomil Mroczynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galapagos Islands FC's Sigvart Biegel got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galapagos Islands FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
