Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Erez Marica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Erez Marica slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Intimos de Reynoso's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erez Marica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st match minute, Intimos de Reynoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo De Paul to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Roland was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Roland having to interfere. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The throw-in from Rodrigo De Paul in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Rodrigo De Paul in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rodrigo De Paul made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Ovidio Roland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erez Marica in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Intimos de Reynoso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Marcus Björkänge replaced Janpier Alvisto. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Intimos de Reynoso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xavian Aquino in the 83rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Xavian Aquino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Intimos de Reynoso's Xavian Aquino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Intimos de Reynoso supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
