Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes, Fabiano Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fabiano Medeiros hit a great ball. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson did a great save. Miroslav Klose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristopher Johnson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslav Klose was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Kristopher Johnson threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kristopher Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Klose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 91 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristopher Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 94th minute of play. Mexico played a much better game than QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. and deserved their victory. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
