Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristopher Johnson came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. Kristopher Johnson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristopher Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 20th minute QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were awarded a corner. Bernardo Simões went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Ilídio Abrantes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Primitivo Andino made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kristopher Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristopher Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Kristopher Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristopher Johnson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Fabiano Medeiros got a free kick in the 56th minute. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s attentive Vasco Távora managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Miroslav Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kristopher Johnson made a huge save. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristopher Johnson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s attentive Joaquim Bomba managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Zorita made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Joaquim Bomba hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Miroslav Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardo Simões took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bernardo Simões got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kristopher Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 85 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miroslav Klose scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
