Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's Mihai Stratulat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GrosseLapingen the free kick. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Reynaldo Mello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Marian Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Tragas in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Cezary Piczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Piczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Anastasios Tragas made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 27th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Tragas in the 38th minute of the match. GrosseLapingen's Marian Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save GrosseLapingen from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Puchlik hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Marian Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Cezary Piczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
The wind increased when Juan Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. Juan Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrosseLapingen. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Juan Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. GrosseLapingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marian Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Chilavert having to interfere. GrosseLapingen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Pietrowiak in the 70th minute. GrosseLapingen's Damazy Pietrowiak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 71st minute Anastasios Tragas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Juan Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrosseLapingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasios Tragas in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, GrosseLapingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Chilavert. GrosseLapingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Anastasios Tragas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 91st minute of play forced GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The GrosseLapingen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
