Marian Otopeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Hajto was slow to take the kick. During this time The Valar's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to The Valar's Manwë Vala getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when William Rigg sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Rigg in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Constantin Hrebenciuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emmanuel Canturri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when William Rigg 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Rigg to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, The Valar's William Rigg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Canturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emmanuel Canturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfred Hajto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emmanuel Canturri. That made the score 5-1 in the 67 minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 70th minute of play. Emmanuel Canturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Valar's Ulmo Vala. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emmanuel Canturri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Canturri having to interfere. The Valar's William Rigg got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Rigg might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Rigg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Rigg in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Emmanuel Canturri. The Valar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Rigg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, William Rigg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, The Valar could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
