Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Celsinho de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Eufemio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Tiresia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Månsson to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes of play, Tiresia FC's Justo Abascal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Garikoitz in the 36th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Aaron Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Tiresia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 86th minute of play forced Tiresia FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Mikelats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Mikelats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tiresia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
