Vassilis Nentakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luz Tejedor's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Vassilis Nentakis made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vasquez in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Vassilis Nentakis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Nentakis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 67 minutes, Gugu Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Pindorama Eagles and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Juvenal Antunes was substituted for Inácio Ponta. Gugu Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 78 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis. Vassilis Nentakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 95 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by 吴正延. Eliseo Mina, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
