Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Tiresia FC's Angelo Garikoitz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Tiresia FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Eufemio in the 6th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Zeledon Eufemio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Angelo Garikoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nemesio Erauso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Angelo Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Garikoitz in the 29th minute of play. Angelo Garikoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Tiresia FC were awarded a corner. 何天镇 went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Angelo Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nemesio Erauso fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiresia FC's protests and gave Nemesio Erauso a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Juan Rubio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Vergaray. Tiresia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 46th minute 何天镇 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Garikoitz to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Zeledon Eufemio made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Justo Abascal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Erauso was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Celsinho de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Valentin Hitz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Justo Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Justo Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Celsinho de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiresia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Justo Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eriberto Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 88th minute of play. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiresia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
