In the 4th minute, Alfredo Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Loco having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Gualterio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachitos FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Loco came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Guillermo Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Loco having to interfere. Gualterio Loco came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 43 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Nuxila was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Loco having to make a save. In the 52nd minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Loco having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Gualterio Loco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gualterio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Loco. Quebrachitos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Cristian Sancho sped through Quebrachitos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualterio Loco. After 78 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Quebrachitos FC's Godfredo Artal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachitos FC from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachitos FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Loco came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gualterio Loco in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gualterio Loco. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Juan Sebastián Puig struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gualterio Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 94 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gualterio Loco, 0-13. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
