Gavino Belarmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Metapalo FC's Epifanio Marques managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Luque in the 23 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Belarmo. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Rafe in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 36th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Valentin Negroni made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jacinto Baumar was slow to take the kick. During this time Metapalo FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jacinto Baumar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Dante Rafe sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
