The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Furtado got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Asesinos Por Naturaleza got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Bikendi. After 42nd play minutes Axel Montenegro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Pablo Lohitzun and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Ferdinand Redondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Ferdinand Redondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Felipe Ralondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Asesinos Por Naturaleza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luisito Bikendi hit a great ball. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Pablo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play. The throw-in from Luis Cazalla in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Luisito Bikendi. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Asesinos Por Naturaleza from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
