Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 武 石义 having to make a save. ≮王者归来≯国家联队's 武 石义 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. 武 石义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 武 石义 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, ≮王者归来≯国家联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 许迅鸿 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 武 石义 saved ≮王者归来≯国家联队 from getting behind. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ≮王者归来≯国家联队's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯国家联队 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. 陈斌明 hit a great ball. 王剑荣 hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯国家联队 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. 王剑荣 hit a great ball. In the 30th minute 肖翔伟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 马凌云 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯国家联队's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 武 石义 came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, 肖翔伟 made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 朱骋锋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 朱骋锋 in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 武 石义 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute. 王剑荣 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ≮王者归来≯国家联队 made a substitution. Mats Deckberg replaced 朱骋锋. 69 minutes into the match, 肖翔伟 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 肖翔伟 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 肖翔伟 in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 武 石义 could save by the left post. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 武 石义 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ≮王者归来≯国家联队's 潘飞文 was substituted for 陈斌明. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Deckberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 武 石义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 武 石义 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. 武 石义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 武 石义 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
