The corner led Peru's Milagros Fraga to a score. 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Santiago in the 13th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Braulio Hibai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mano Hume saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 34th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 35th minute of the match. Alp Kaya made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With an all-out effort, Peru's Mano Hume threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 41 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Braulio Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Peru lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
