Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Nisporeanu having to interfere. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Felix Udroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the game Augustin Tâlvescu made a throw-in which Iulian Cangeopol played forward. After 24 minutes, Augustin Tâlvescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-! In the 27th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Doru Săvescu in the 28th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dinu Roşu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinu Roşu ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mugur Ulici kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Nisporeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Udroiu made a kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mugur Ulici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Nisporeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of the match. Jose Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Udroiu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Udroiu in the 79th minute of play. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Pompiliu Nisporeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- from getting a goal against them. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Pompiliu Nisporeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Udroiu in the 87th minute of the match. Felix Udroiu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-. With a little luck, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Pompiliu Nisporeanu got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
