Grêmio 20 Julho's Gil Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Gil Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Guerra made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gil Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Gil Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gil Guerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Gil Guerra. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Gil Guerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Grêmio 20 Julho's Gil Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio 20 Julho from getting a goal against them.
