When Arkadiusz Zaremba fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotbollens Lakejer BK's protests and gave Arkadiusz Zaremba a yellow card for diving instead. Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With splendid footwork Arkadiusz Zaremba arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 31st minute. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Arkadiusz Zaremba was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fredrik Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mats Trillkott reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Arkadiusz Zaremba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbollens Lakejer BK's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Pihlgren came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Groth during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fotbollens Lakejer BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Groth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Ludwig Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonas Pihlgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonas Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Fotbollens Lakejer BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
