Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Oprescu kicked off to start the match. In the 16th minute GoalHunters were awarded a corner. Leontin Traianescu went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, João Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gaúcho in the 26th minute of the match. GoalHunters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leontin Traianescu in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Denis Oprescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniel Jienescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, GoalHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Jienescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Joel Gaona, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daniel Jienescu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Oprescu got free with Dante Lacasa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Jerrold came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GoalHunters's Panait Bujor got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Oprescu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Daniel Jienescu in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Pedro Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 76th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Stoicescu in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Traianescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bhadrayu Sethi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 91st minute.
