Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Graham Long kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Graham Long mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staffordshire Terrier FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Graham Long hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Niall Deacon in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Niall Deacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niall Deacon having to interfere. In the 16th minute Staffordshire Terrier FC were awarded a corner. Pedro Warnett went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Niall Deacon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Niall Deacon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Niall Deacon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niall Deacon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Niall Deacon in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Niall Deacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Niall Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Staffordshire Terrier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Rocastle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Niall Deacon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Staffordshire Terrier FC made a substitution. Jon Webster replaced Graham Long. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Niall Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Niall Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Daniel Rocastle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Mick Newman. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Niall Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Andino in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Jeff Weir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Staffordshire Terrier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 81st minute, Jeff Weir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 90 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niall Deacon. Staffordshire Terrier FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niall Deacon. Niall Deacon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
