Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Sparka & Spring BK were awarded a corner. Min Abajas went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klas Sundin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 17 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tor Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tor Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Sundin in the 38th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Sundin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Sundin in the 52nd minute of the match. Min Abajas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson didn't even have to move. In the 57th minute, Sven-Arne Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Torsberg in the 66th minute of play. Sparka & Spring BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Tor Jonsson, making the score, 1-1. Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 77th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Jonsson having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sparka & Spring BK's goalkeeper Tor Jonsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Tor Jonsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Sparka & Spring BK were awarded a corner. Min Abajas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Min Abajas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sparka & Spring BK to leave the ground with a draw.
