After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Vallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Beneth scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd match minute, Youth Academy Of Rhye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Honduras's Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Jonathan Vallin threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Adam Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Beneth in the 38th minute of play. Valentín Carvallo's late challenge caught a Youth Academy Of Rhye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. When Adam Brun came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Youth Academy Of Rhye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Brun couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Abdulaziz Onurkan's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulaziz Onurkan helped the player get up and apologised. Abdulaziz Onurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Youth Academy Of Rhye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. In the 62nd minute, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Fred Kruuse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Niclas Beneth hit a great ball. Fred Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Brun in the 75th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Sundin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Brun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Adam Brun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 91st minute. Youth Academy Of Rhye were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
