Fred Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Adam Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Youth Academy Of Rhye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Vallin came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Niclas Beneth's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niclas Beneth helped the player get up and apologised. Niclas Beneth hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Youth Academy Of Rhye players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adam Brun hit a great ball. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Vallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Adam Brun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Abdulaziz Onurkan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Abdulaziz Onurkan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gottfrid Sundin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Jonathan Vallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Vallin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 85th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Alex Cambeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
