Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elmo Lodev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 19th minute Aidu Metskonna Pöörased were awarded a corner. Gerd Viru went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Gerd Viru to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hardo Kaar to maneuver through the defense. Dušan Kinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dušan Kinder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Macos Graciani made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Dušan Kinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. The Aidu Metskonna Pöörased players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elmo Lodev to strike the kick off in the second half. Dušan Kinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. Urmet Saue kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dušan Kinder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Dušan Kinder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 63rd minute. After 68 played minutes Aidu Metskonna Pöörased got a freekick which was hit by Rein Viilma. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hardo Kaar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dušan Kinder. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Aidu Metskonna Pöörased from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hardi Nurmik kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dušan Kinder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Kaar in the 94th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
