The supporters of Maraponga FAC booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Maraponga FAC's Xacintu Magadan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Curacao booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Szaniszló didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xacintu Magadan scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Xacintu Magadan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Maraponga FAC's Cristiano Osmundsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Verlet in the 24th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Osmundsen in the 25th minute of play. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Verlet, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Xacintu Magadan might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xacintu Magadan ran back to his position shaking his head. Darren Verlet scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Verlet in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Osmundsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xacintu Magadan's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Magadan in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Jimmy Lind shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Xacintu Magadan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Verlet, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Xacintu Magadan made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Darren Verlet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraponga FAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren Verlet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeru Dorado got free with Bruno Barrett in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Osmundsen came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Xacintu Magadan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xacintu Magadan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Szaniszló in the 65th minute of the match. Xacintu Magadan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Xacintu Magadan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 68th minute. In the 75th minute, Maraponga FAC's Darren Verlet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. After 78 minutes of play, Maraponga FAC's Cristiano Osmundsen made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Darren Verlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Xacintu Magadan sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Osmundsen in the 86th minute of the match. Xacintu Magadan in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Darren Verlet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-12. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Maraponga FAC's Xacintu Magadan. But to his dismay, Xacintu Magadan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Maraponga FAC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
