In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Beturian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by 中职联-大连实德's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Joe Gibson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, 中职联-大连实德's 蔡战明 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. A collision led to 中职联-大连实德 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. 汪俊光 hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 崔鹏威 in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Joe Gibson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Beturian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marciano Beturian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marciano Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, 汪俊光 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, 中职联-大连实德 could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
