An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladimir Jungwirth in the 3rd minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Örtendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Romero having to interfere. Severino Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Harms in the 11th minute of the match. A hard shot 14 in the game by Wladimir Jungwirth from a close distance when the talented Severino Vergílio managed to make a qualified save. Estação F.C's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, Belmiro Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Romero. Werderaner 04 Volkssport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Figueiredo came free, but Nestor Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Belmiro Figueiredo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Nestor Romero. Nestor Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anselm Kempe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Severino Vergílio made a huge save. In the 39th minute Wladimir Jungwirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Estação F.C booed when Werderaner 04 Volkssport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Marotzke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Figueiredo in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wladimir Jungwirth made a kick off. After 53 minutes Werderaner 04 Volkssport's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Falcão Albuquerque who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselm Kempe in the 63rd minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Estação F.C's Malte Örtendahl in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Werderaner 04 Volkssport's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Giuseppe Marotzke got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Estação F.C's Eliseu Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estação F.C's Valdomiro Couto was substituted for Arnaldo Félix. Nestor Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Cabral in the 84th minute of play. Estação F.C:s Severino Vergílio showed great skill when he stopped Anselm Kempe:s penalty. Severino Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselm Kempe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anselm Kempe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Estação F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Estação F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
