Karlus Waugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Elsens having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Mike Kustermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Wollans's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Kustermans in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Romon Oliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamaica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Waterhoek's goalkeeper Daniel Elsens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finlay Stair. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Weijnants in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Sven Wollans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Kustermans in the 45th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finlay Stair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leron Sale hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Mike Kustermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. Levi Weijnants was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Wollans. Sven Wollans came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Demonde Jacobson could save by the left post. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Weijnants, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Levi Weijnants spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Jamaica's goal. Waterhoek's Levi Weijnants shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Demonde Jacobson but with some difficulty. In the 93rdth minute of the game Finlay Stair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterhoek's Daniel Elsens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
