After 6 minutes Sledgehammer KO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcus Allbäck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Askanios Kefalas in the 15th minute of the match. Sledgehammer KO's Antonio Michael was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benny Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sledgehammer KO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. 41 minutes into the match, Sledgehammer KO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Benny Bur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 42nd minute of play forced Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Fanström to maneuver through the defense. D.J. 王冰冰 made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fredrik Moberg however managed to control. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Sledgehammer KO from getting a goal against them. When Efraim Gilabert fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Efraim Gilabert a yellow card for diving instead. Efraim Gilabert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Antonio Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Allbäck in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benny Bur came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Benny Bur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sledgehammer KO made a substitution. Daniel Gunnarsson replaced Askanios Kefalas. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benny Bur firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 87th minute, Leonard Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
